Your browser shares your position, or you type a ZIP code. We measure the straight line distance from that point to the listed address of each agency and station in our records and show the closest ones first.
Does the closest agency answer calls from my location?
Not always. The closest office is not necessarily the agency with jurisdiction where you are. City police, sheriff's offices, and state agencies can overlap. Call 911 in an emergency and the dispatcher will send the right agency.
Do you save my location?
No. Your position is sent with one request to find nearby agencies and is not stored or shared.
Why did my ZIP code find nothing?
A ZIP code is a mail delivery area, so we place it using the agencies listed inside it. A ZIP code with no listed agency cannot be placed. Search by city or county name instead, or use your location.
